The Carpenter Bee Ring. This ring is entirely unique. Set with rhodolite garnets in the body & eyes, its back holding an antique Victorian bronze button set with an antique garnet.
 
A strange fact about me (one of many), I collect buttons. I've been holding onto this one with its exquisite detailing for around 17 years. I found it in an antique shop in rural Norfolk where my family live. It has finally found its place in this very special ring, leaning into the recurring Victorian curiosities theme in my work.
 
This ring was sculpted and assembled in wax, cast in bronze, made to house my precious button treasure & an array of antique and rhodolite garnets. Last but not least, it is finished in 18ct yellow gold plate. 
 
This one needs to go to a good home.
